A volunteer came over today to watch Tao (my husband) milk the cow. He was mesmorised with the process of hand milking and couldn’t take enough photos… photos of Sophie (our cow), of Neffa (her daughter), of the milking stool, of Tao bent into Sophie… I reckon if he could have, he would have photographed the pulsing sound of the milk squirting into the pail… He took pictures of the moon, of the clouds… I admit it was a stunning moon…. of the gate, of the barn, of the doves and the mountains of hay in the loft… He then asked if he could come and take photos of me making salves and creams… He mentioned that I smelled of flowers and herbs and aromatics… with that kind of sweet talk.. what could I say??!!

Autumn is always a very busy time for me… making products ready for the christmas markets… dreaming up colour combinations for wrapping my gift sets and pulling together other friends who make beautiful products to feature alongside my products.
